Is -17 Rational Or Irrational
Do yous always become confused most the departure between integers and real numbers? How most rational and irrational numbers? In this video we have a look at how the different types of numbers are related.

The Different Types of Numbers
Natural Numbers:likewise called counting numbers,
starts at $1$ and continues from there.
Ex. $1, 2, 3, 4, 5 …$
Whole Numbers: include all the natural numbers and zero.
Ex. $0,i, ii, 3, four, 5 …
Integers: include all the whole numbers and their opposites.
Ex. $… -v, -four, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, iv, v…$
Rational Numbers: include any number that can be written as a fraction. This includes all the integer, and both terming both repeating and terminating decimals.
Ex. $(-2, -one.5, -i, 0, 0.25, 1, 1\tfrac{vii}{8}, 2.\overline{\rm 3})$
Irrational Numbers: are non-repeating decimals. (Numbers that can't be written as a fraction.)
Ex. $ \sqrt{2}, \sqrt{3}, \Pi , \varphi $
Real Numbers:Include both rational and irrational numbers.
Imaginary Numbers:A number when squared gives yous a negative answer. It is called imaginary number because in that location is no real number that when you lot square it becomes negative.i represent the $ \sqrt{-i}$.
